Quit Feeding the Government!
Being big does not always mean being better. Government fits right into this category. It’s like the boa constrictor that I bought a few years ago. What a neat pet … until it grew longer than I was! Today, that boa constrictor is about seven feet long and weighs about forty pounds. I no longer have the freedom (or desire) to reach into its cage unannounced or to play with it around my neck. The snake is now the master. If it doesn’t want to come out of its cage, I change my plans!
I am guessing that I will never have my friendly, fun, little snake back again, because from what I have observed, snakes keep growing rather than shrinking as long as they are fed. Fortunately, governments can be trimmed down to size, unless they have grown so large and powerful that we are afraid to mess with them. Then, like the snake, it is only a matter of time before it is big enough to eat you!
Our government has now reached the size that it thinks it is the boss. We don’t call the shots. Our only chance is to starve it. Quit feeding the beast!!! Vote for candidates that believe in limited government. Educate people about the dangers of having a government so large and powerful. Fight the man!! Get radical!! And, of course, keep charging!!! What’s that I see in the snake’s belly being smuggled behind enemy lines???
Because it is Rhinos who can and will make the difference .. don’t re-elect a cow … and, get involved..
scott…hmmmmm i believe it had a batch of babies who have now grown up and produced even more……yikes….and they all have been fed the same food….. our monies are feeding them….and now they gotten so fat, they require more and more just to keep the calories they think they need, to stay fat…. and breeding…..
Two-and-a-half years ago you were right but today I read your words and can only say, “You are even more right!” Your messages are profound and timeless but sometimes a little nightmarish.
The numbers involved in feeding our government snake are mind boggling; but Uncle O has a plan: “Tax the Rhinos”.
Finally a plan that will work! Eat all the Rhinos, killing those pesky horned pachyderms. That will end all private sector jobs. The Cows will then all work for the government and pay 40% of their wages in taxes, that just leaves us 60% short. That money will come from fairy dust according to Keynesian economics and every thing will be a-okay!
Of course we could always run guns into Mexico, oops, too late!
See the answer is right there staring us in the horns…Is it 2012 yet? I’m scared and I want to wake up!
