Keep Feeling Fascination!
I just had a Facebook friend comment that I have a fascinating life. Having someone else categorize me as fascinating left me puzzled. I have never had any major surgery, never participated in any dangerous sports and I drive a VW van. I don’t like cold weather, I am horrible at math problems and have been divorced twice. In fact, if I have had any brush with greatness, it was being married to those two incredibly fascinating women.
That got me to thinking about what would qualify someone as fascinating and I came up with this: the only requirement for living a fascinating life is that you find it fascinating.
It’s like the saying, “to be interesting, be interested” . To be fascinating, find fascination in everything! Just because your life may not involve jumping out of planes or wrestling alligators, there is no such thing as ordinary or common when it comes to living. “If no one had ever seen a flower, even a dandelion would be the most startling event in the world.”
Life is fascinating. Live it.
The problems that people are able to overcome is fascinating. Determine to rise above your difficulties.
A fascinating life does not have to be complicated. Making a new friend is a fascinating process. Make one!
Resolve to make your life fascinating… to you. That will make you fascinating to others. Look for wonder. Look for miracles. Look for something to be passionate about.
Most of all, be a rhinoceros and take action. Get out in the jungle and be part of life. Keep charging and feel the fascination! Scott Alexander

Most people spend so much time looking at the billboards on the highway of life, they never really see the journey they are on. You, and your life, can be fascinating if you will pay more attention to your life and quit worrying so much about everyone else’s. Those cows over “there” may be interesting, but the fascinating life is right in front of your rhino horn!
