Problems Are A Good Sign for Rhinos!
Rhinos are always prepared for problems. It doesn’t matter how much money you have. They still show up. Regardless of sex, creed, breed or color, you will still have problems. No one has been granted immunity from them.
The rhinoceros difference is in the handling of your problems. Rhinos are no easy match for difficulties. The majority of setbacks that would paralyze a cow have no effect on a rhino. Little problems don’t faze you. They are there, but you don’t dwell on them. They are as insignificant as the gnats that buzz around your eyes. As long as you are charging, they are gone. But slow down to a stop and suddenly the gnats are buzzing around your eyes again. Keep charging and the little problems are of no concern to you.
It is the big problems that you work with. These are the problems that can stun an elephant. They come with the job. Fortunately, you can handle them because you are equipped with two-inch-thick skin, 6,000 pounds of charging mass and rhinoceros audacity.
You understand that most problems are a good sign. Problems indicate that progress is being made, wheels are turning and you are moving toward your goal. Beware when you have no problems! Then you’ve really got a problem!
No problems is a symptom of inactivity. No problems means no action is being taken. No action means you are coasting and coasting means you are going downhill. If you don’t have any problems, double check your bearings. You could be on your way to nowhere!
Rhinos are constantly moving, doing and advancing. Problems are like landmarks of progress. Pass enough problems and you will reach your destination. Expect what us motivational speakers call “challenges” and then they won’t surprise you when they pop up. Keep the attitude that overcoming problems is what makes your adventure. What kind of story are you going to have to tell if you don’t have some difficulties to triumph over? Sharpen your horns, get out there in the jungle and charge!!! Scott Alexander

Problem or Project? It all depends on your attitude.

This one is getting me through a rough Rhino mindset! Thank you!
Keep charging, Denise!
As always Scott…spot on. I REALLY appreciate you!
My youngest paid me a Rhino compliment the other day, Scott. Told me that I was living a good life….which startled me because it’s been daing difficult, and I think I “moo” a lot. When I asked him, he replied that I actually LIVED life, gone out and done all sorts of things despite the tough stuff. I’m so glad that he sees it that way. Rhino living – always an adventure!
Give him a rhino grunt for me and keep charging, Robyn!!!
Matthew, I appreciate the appreciation. Keep charging!!
