The road to success is out your front door!

There is a street connected to your driveway that will take you anywhere in the world!  All you have to decide is where you want to be and then go!! Depending on your destination, it may take weeks, months or even years to get there.  But you will be on your way, and that is my definition of success.

Making the decision, setting a goal and then taking action is everything.  Successful people are the ones trying, striving and never giving up.

Don’t think that you can do something because it will take too long?  Every great dream starts at that street right outside your door.  Wanna learn to play the guitar, but feel it’s too hard?  Can you press a finger on any string on the guitar and pluck it?  You successfully played your first note!  If you strum a few strings, you just played a chord.  You just stepped out on the street and are on your way!! Rock on!!!

Have you ever wanted to write a book?  With all your experiences, you know that you would be able to help people that find themselves in similar situations.  But you tell yourself that you can’t write a book.  Hey!  Can you write one sentence?  You are on your way!!

Keep the big picture running through your head at all times, but concentrate on taking the little actions every day that will get you where you want to go.  When you are rolling down the road towards your dream, consider yourself successful.  There’s nothing more to it.

What do you dream about doing?  Why the hell aren’t you going there?  Too lazy to pluck one string or write one sentence?  Then I can’t help you. Motivation is like eating at a buffet.  If you won’t pick up a plate and start putting food on it, you’re not going to eat.  Success is self-serve.  Most people figure that out… except Obama supporters who think that government is there to feed them, clothe them, wipe their butts, and keep them healthy and happy.  Live free.  Keep charging!!!   Scott Alexander

Damn you Mr. Alexander for using logic to lay waste to my laziness. I have a brand new Ovation Celebrity that is literally staring at me with a very judgmental look on its face. We’re suppose to be friends, Scott.

It’s one thing when your little red book forced me to develop and operate my own business. Then you made me gain a closer and more meaningful relationship with my Creator than I ever thought possible, collecting little rhino reminders along the way. But now my guitar judges me, my writing utensils judge me, even me keyboard sneers at its lack of use.

You know, the other 3 million readers of “Rhinoceros Success” might appreciate this kind of stuff, but I for one can only say, “Love ya, Sensei!”

Ihad my first enounter with the red book in 1985. It gave me what I needed.. a burning desier.. Although I’m not a business owner I charge everyday and I’m good at what I do. Also the positive thougths on the Bible led me to read Matthew and gain a new understanding of the Lord. My faith has evolved in a ask and belive and receive. Life is for the taking. It always gives you what you ask.. So occasionally when I’m slidding down in cow menure I pick the book back up. That book and Success Throuh a Postivive Mental Attitude and the Bible Changed me forever. GO RHINO GO.

Even though I am an Obama supporter, I do not fall into the “general” thinking process of “Obama supporters who think that government is there to feed them, clothe them, wipe their butts, and keep them healthy and happy.”

I LOVE THIS!!! “Motivation is like eating at a buffet. If you won’t pick up a plate and start putting food on it, you’re not going to eat. Success is self-serve. Most people figure that out…”

I recommend and/or give your book to everyone that asks me how I stay motivated to do what the things I do. They either ask that or ask why I have rhinos, elephants, lions, and tigers surrounding me in some form or “fashion” (Ecko Unlimited clothing).

Thanks, Steve! I appreciate that. Geez, we could use a Rhino like you in the fight for freedom! Hate to have you on the other side.
